BRICS Media Summit kicks off in Moscow

The 7th BRICS Media Summit commenced in Moscow on Saturday, bringing together executives from 60 media outlets across 45 countries, including Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC. Organized by the Russian TASS news agency, the event focuses on the role of media in a multipolar world. Media representatives from around the globe are participating in discussions on contemporary cyber challenges and technological aspects of news exchange. The plenary session, moderated by Mikhail Gusman, First Deputy Director General of TASS, featured addresses by TASS Director General Andrey Kondrashov, President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Bella Cherkesova, and Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, among others.
