Earthquake shakes Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border

BISHKEK: An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 struck the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, Trend reports. According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, the earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 18 km in the Alay Mountains, near the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. The epicenter was 20 km southeast of Kyrgyzstan's Bor-Debe, 45 km southwest of Nura, and 140 km southwest of Osh. In Kyrgyzstan, the earthquake's intensity was measured at 3 in Bor-Debe and 2.0 in Nura. Source : Trend News Agency
