Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev met with an American entrepreneur, founder of SpaceX, owner of the social network X (former Twitter) By Elon Musk. Nabiyev wrote about this in his account on the X platform (Twitter). 'We met with Elon Musk at the Tesla Giga Texas plant in Austin. We exchanged views on the planned launch of the Starlink satellite Internet service in Azerbaijan this year, the launch of satellites belonging to our country, as well as on the International Astronautical Congress to be held in Baku in October this year," Nabiyev said. On May 9 of this year, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Azerbaijani Space Agency "Azercosmos" and the American company "SpaceX" ("Space Research Corporation"). According to the agreement, "Azercosmos" and "SpaceX" have reached an agreement on the resale of the "Starlink" broadband satellite Internet service in Azerbaijan.
