Today, at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Baku Marathon 2023 is being held, APA reports.
Traditionally organized since 2016, the Baku Marathon is aimed at supporting the development of sports and popularizing a healthy lifestyle, and every year gathers a large number of participants from different countries, regardless of age.

This year, 19,500 participants registered to participate in the marathon. The race is open to persons over 18 years of age.
