Kyrgyz health minister and Chinese ambassador visit Osh City Clinical Hospital

Baatyrova and Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen visited the Osh City Clinical Hospital in Osh, built with grant funds from the People's Republic of China. 'Over the four years of operation of the hospital, it has become one of the indispensable centers for the provision of medical services for local residents, which emphasizes the importance of such friendship and partnership between the two countries,' Gulnara Baatyrova noted during her visit to the hospital. Osh City Clinical Hospital consists of three buildings - outpatient diagnostic, inpatient and administrative. In the outpatient diagnostic building, doctors consult patients, make diagnoses and provide emergency care. There is an intensive care unit and an operating room. The inpatient building has 250 beds. In the administrative office there are office rooms, accounting, a telemedicine room and a conference room for 200 people. The hospital has departments of surgery, traumatology, neurosurgery and urology. Equipment for gastroscopy, laparoscopy, colonoscopy, echocardiography, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures have been installed. More than 300 medical workers work in the institution.
