The successful energy policy of Azerbaijan vis-a-vis the Russia-Ukraine conflict was in a focus of an analytical Between Borders show, which was aired on the leading Mexican TV channel Milenio. The speakers highlighted the Southern Gas Corridor project and the Solidarity Ring initiative (STRING), larger volumes of Azerbaijani gas heading to Europe, saying Azerbaijan has proved its worth as a reliable partner of Europe, becoming an important regional actor as a result of its multifaceted energy policy, and presenting new opportunities in terms of ensuring the energy security of the continent. The speakers also noted Europe`s interest towards Azerbaijani gas as an alternative source to Russian gas, as well as Azerbaijan`s standpoint vis-a-vis the Russia-Ukraine War, saying that Azerbaijan maintains good relations with both Russia and Ukraine and stands out as a country that supports peace-building efforts.
