U.S. has no right to interfere in relations between Iran, Azerbaijan – Iran MFA Spokesperson

"Cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan continues and the United States has no right to interfere in the friendly relations between Iran and neighboring countries," Nasser Kanaani, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said at a weekly press conference in response to the US official's comment on Iran's participation in the establishment of the corridor in the Caucasus, APA reports. "U.S. talks big, they are interfering in issues that have nothing to do with it. Cooperation between Iran and regional countries, as well as Azerbaijan continues and U.S. has no right to interfere in the friendly relations between Iran and neighboring countries. U.S. should stop interfering in the internal affairs of the region and should learn from past experiences. Interventions like these will not benefit the U.S.," he stated.
