Azerbaijan arrests 387 wanted persons at border

As a result of anti-crime measures, 387 people wanted by the Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities, State Border Service of Azerbaijan Republic stated, APA reports. According to the information, 408 people banned from leaving the country and 24 people banned from entering the Republic of Azerbaijan were prevented. It was noted that over the month of November, measures to ensure the reliable protection of the state border, combating smuggling, illegal migration, and the illegal circulation of narcotics were continued. As part of the measures to combat illegal migration, 14 people were detained while trying to cross the state border with a fake date stamp, a forged passport and a document belonging to someone else.
