International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Hungary discuss prospects for cooperation

President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has met with a delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly Sándor Lezsák.

During the meeting, Gunay Afandiyeva highlighted the events organized by the organization to promote the ancient Turkic culture, future projects aimed at preserving the ancient values of the Turkic people, as well as the cooperation with Hungary, the observer state of the Foundation. The president of the Foundation also noted the projects implemented by the Foundation to promote the works of Bela Bartok, Miklós Radnóti and other prominent figures of Hungary.

Deputy Speaker Sándor Lezsák hailed the activities of the Foundation as well as highlighted the importance of the work done by the organization in promoting the centuries-old rich heritage of the Turkic world at international level.

The Hungarian deputy speaker also touched upon Hungary's close relations with the Turkic states and stressed the importance of implementing joint projects with the Foundation.

The meeting also saw discussions on expansion of cooperation between the Foundation and Hungary as well as other issues of mutual interest.
