The exhibition centre of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan on November 22 at 15.00 will host a personal anniversary exhibition of the famous ceramist of the country, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Solmaz Muhammedova.
Solmaz will present more than 100 works, mostly ceramic works in the form of sculptural and decorative vases and abstract installations. «My creative credo» says Solmaz, «is the work must produce an effect both in color and form and delight the viewer».
In addition to ceramic works, visitors will have the opportunity to admire paintings. In painting, Solmaz prefers floristry, so most of her paintings are devoted to flowers. Unusual, sometimes even fantastic, flowers in contrast with the background are also very effective. The exhibition promises to be interesting for artists and art lovers.
