President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov received the new consul of Turkmenistan in Kazan Guych Garayev , the press service of the Kazan Kremlin reports .
Wishing Garayev good work, Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan and Turkmenistan have many common interests, and the activities of the Consulate General are aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial ties and contacts.
Since 2020, Guych Garayev has been the consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan.
The former Turkmen consul in Kazan , Atadurdy Bayramov , has been appointed Turkmenistan’s ambassador to Japan.
