President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a mass bike ride through the streets of Ashgabat in honor of World Bicycle Day.
Members of the government, parliament, foreign diplomats, heads of ministries, departments, the mayor's office of Ashgabat, journalists, representatives of public organizations and students took part in the bike ride along with the Turkmen leader.
Mass bike rides on the occasion of the World Bicycle Day were also held in all regions of Turkmenistan. World Bicycle Day was established on the initiative of Ashgabat by a special resolution of the UN General Assembly on April 12, 2018.
